Emily Dobler is in the final stretch of receiving a B.A. in Professional Writing and English at Carnegie Mellon University. She’s worked at her college newspaper for the past two years, and has interned for big and small publications — from start-ups to daily papers. She’s a big believer in print journalism and the oxford comma, and will happily debate anyone on either subject.
Sampsonia Way is an online magazine sponsored by City of Asylum/Pittsburgh that seeks to protect and advocate for writers who may be endangered, to educate the public about threats to writers and literary expression, and to create a community in which endangered writers thrive and literary culture is a valued part of life.
