The Freedom Chat is a new video series by Sampsonia Way featuring interviews with journalists and other media workers facing censorship and repression in their home countries. In these Q&A’s, conducted via video chat, journalists talk with Sampsonia Way about press freedom, anti-free speech legislation, and exile.

For our third segment we talked to Andrea Daza Tapia, a freelance reporter for Venezuelan newspaper Prodavinci. Three years ago Tapia left Venezuela to attend the Blanquerna School of Communications at Ramon Llull University in Barcelona, Spain. She is now the press officer for the school and continues to write about Venezuela.
