Description and Reader Names: Mike Faloon (ZISK)
Abby Mendelson (OAKLAND QUARTET)
Steve Reynolds (ZISK)
MC: Holly Coleman (New Yinzer)

Mike Faloon & Steve Reynolds come to town on tour with FAN INTERFERENCE, an anthology of ZISK baseball zine. Pittsburgh author Abby Mendelson reads from his baseball-themed novel, OAKLAND QUARTET. Pirates fan and writer Holly Coleman emcees.

Fan Interference collects the best from 15 years of the Zisk zine, the so-called “Baseball Magazine For People Who Hate Baseball Magazines.” The place where baseball, music and humor all intersect has been critically acclaimed by such publications as the Chicago Tribune, Variety and Razorcake.

Abby Mendelson is the author (most recently) of OAKLAND QUARTET:
Set in Oakland, a working-class American-Irish neighborhood of steel mills and saloons, the novel, set in 1958, chronicles four teenaged baseball players - Stash and Nig, Mongol and Whitey, the slickest-fielding infield the city had ever seen - who, on a hot, sulfurous night, commit an unspeakable crime - and must live with its consequences.
