Description and Reader Names: Judith Brice celebrates the release of her first book of poems. Guest readers include Charlie Brice and Diane Kerr.

There will be a book signing after the reading and light refreshment will be provided.

Judith Brice is a retired psychiatrist whose love of nature, and whose experiences with her own illnesses through the years, and experiences as a physician for over thirty years has informed much of her work. Her poems have appeared previously in such journals as The Paterson Literary Review, Poesia, Spring, the Journal of the E.E. Cummings Society, and the online anthology of The Robert Frost Foundation, and in many other publications.One of the poems in her book, Renditions in a Palette has been made part of the permanent archives of The Holocaust Memorial Center in Farmington Hills, MI.

Charles W. Brice's poetry has appeared in The Quotable, The Paterson Literary Review, The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and Spitball, and is forthcoming in The Atlanta Review. He was awarded third place in the 2012 Literary Life Bookstore Poetry Contest, Editor’s Choice in the 2013 Allen Ginsburg Poetry Contest, and was a semifinalist in the 2013 Bailey-Beads Poetry Contest, University of Pittsburgh.

Diane Kerr teaches writing at the University of Pittsburgh Writing Center. Her poems have appeared in Alaska Quarterly Review, Kalliope, Pearl, Southern Indiana Review, and Zone 3 among others. Her chapbook One was published by Parallel Press in 2007, and a full length collection Butterfly will be published by WordTech Communications in March, 2014. She has an M.F.A. from the Warren Wilson Program for Writers.
