Description and Reader Names: The conscious mind is always busy analyzing, reasoning and resolving. Bypass the mind and let your writing spring from the heart! The heart leads us into the shadows, into the deep places of memory. Tap into a well of creativity and deep truth within yourself. We'll use freewriting techniques that bypass the linear left brain. Write your stories and histories with your heart in charge. We will offer thoughtful, supportive discussion/critique for your writing in-class and from home. Each week we will cover exercises that stimulate your creativity and have shown to assist in healing-- in opening up.
