Robin Becker, Liberal Arts research professor of English and women’s studies at Penn State, has published five books in the Pitt Poetry Series, most recently Tiger Heron, in 2014. She writes the poetry column 'Field Notes' for the Women’s Review of Books where she serves as contributing and poetry editor. During the 2010-2011 academic year, Becker served as the Penn State Laureate. She has received fellowships from the Bunting Institute at Harvard, the Massachusetts Cultural Council, and the National Endowment for the Arts.

Jody Bolz edits Poet Lore—America’s oldest poetry journal, founded in 1889—and is the author, most recently, of two book-length poetic sequences: A Lesson in Narrative Time (Gihon Books, 2004) and Shadow Play (Turning Point, 2013). She worked as a journalist for two major conservation organizations (The Wilderness Society and The Nature Conservancy) and taught for more than 20 years at George Washington University. Her poems have appeared in journals such as Ploughshares, The Women’s Review of Books, and she has won the Rona Jaffe Foundation writer’s award.
