Description and Reader Names: From June 10th – 25th, we are thrilled to present the Pittsburgh premiere of The Book of Liz by Amy and David Sedaris at Pittsburgh Playwrights Theater, 542 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh PA 15222. Performances run Thursdays through Saturdays at 8pm (with an additional performance on Monday June 20th at 8pm). Tickets are $15 in advance through ShowClix and $20 cash at the door.

From the off-kilter minds of Amy and David Sedaris (The Santaland Diaries, Strangers with Candy), The Book of Liz is a hilarious “Amish picaresque” chronicling one woman’s journey from Perspiration to Inspiration. Billed by The New York Times as “a delightfully off-key, off-color hymn to clichés we all live by, whether we know it or not”, the cast includes Allison Fatla, John Feightner, Kelly Marie McKenna, Jody O’Donnell and Gayle Pazerski and will be directed by No Name Players’ Artistic Director, Don DiGiulio.
