Bonita Lee Penn 
Short bio: Bonita Lee Penn, a Carlow University graduate, in Creative Writing and Professional Writing. She is the author of several poerty books; Visiting Rooms and a chapbook The B Side. Her work has also been published in Voices from the Attic Anthology, Critical Point Journal, Taj Mahal International Review, and Crossing Limits: African American & American Jews: Poetry from Pittsburgh. She is the Managing-editor of the Soul Pitt Quarterly a local magazine, and a freelance writer for Mentoring Showcase based in Atlanta. She is also the facilitator of the Umbra/Pittsburgh Writers Series being held at the Homewood Library Branch of the Carnegie Library.
