Description and Reader Names: Come out for a first-of-its-kind evening of whiskey & writing at the Wigle Distillery in the Strip District. Nick Sturm and Carrie Lorig bring their Finally Be Friends east coast book tour to town, with Pittsburgh's own Robert Yune reading in support.

Delicious Wigle signature cocktails, drams, and sample flights will be available throughout the reading, with a portion of the drink proceeds going to the Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council. Drink up!

writer bios:

Carrie Lorig is a beast feeling made of sound and the author of the chapbooks NODS. (Magic Helicopter Press), rootpoems (Radioactive Moat) with Russ Woods, and Nancy and the Dutch (NAP) with Nick Sturm. She is in the MFA program at the University of Minnesota and is the co-founder of the Our Flow is Hard Reading Series.

Nick Sturm is the author of How We Light, from H_NGM_N BKS, as well as a number of chapbooks including, with Wendy Xu, I Was Not Even Born (Coconut) and, with Carrie Lorig, Nancy and The Dutch (NAP). Poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Black Warrior, Typo, jubilat, Sixth Finch, and elsewhere. He is from Akron, Ohio and lives in Tallahassee, Florida.

Robert Yune was born in Seoul, South Korea. His novel EIGHTY DAYS OF SUNLIGHT is forthcoming from Thought Catalog Books. His fiction has been published in The Kenyon Review, Avery and The Los Angeles Review, among others. In 2009, he received a fellowship from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. Yune currently lives in Pittsburgh and teaches at the University of Pittsburgh.
