Description and Reader Names: Pittsburgh Contemporary Writers Series is proud to present the 2012 Fred R. Brown Award winner Justin Torres. Torres will read from his work and be available to sign copies afterwards. He will also be appearing at a Q&A session on Friday, October 12 from 12-1 pm in 501 Cathedral of Learning.

Justin Torres is a Wallace Stegner Fellow at Stanford and a recipient of the Rolón United States Artist Fellowship in Literature. His debut novel, We the Animals, appeared in 2011 to wide critical acclaim. His short work has appeared in The New Yorker, Granta, Tin House, and Glimmer Train.
