Description and Reader Names: The intersection between poetry and music will be explored with readings and audience participation. The Squirrel Hill Writers' Studio will read poems they've written about musicians who have influenced their lives and what Black History Month means to them. The Langston Hughes Society will read. The audience will be invited to write a poem at the event and share with everyone. Light refreshments will be served.
