Description and Reader Names: WE WRITE! Creative Writing University is an opportunity for writers of all levels to find inspiration, polish skills, and build community. Join authors Shirley Showalter and Sharon Lippincott for this special program.

Shirley Showalter, author of 'Blush: A Mennonite Girl Meets a Glittering World' will present 'From Perplexed to Published: How to Polish Your Writing to a Shine' which will help you move from a rough draft to published work.

Sharon Lippincott, author of 'The Heart and Craft of Writing Compelling Description' and 'The Heart and Craft of Lifestory Writing' will present 'Writing Out of the Box' which will inspire you with ideas and techniques for weaving story scraps into a cohesive work.

Registration required. $25 registration fee. All proceeds benefit Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh. Stop by the library to register.
