Beatrice W. Vasser is the author of The Color of Black (MadBooks, 2015), and Circle of Life: Verses from My Journey (Pneuma Publishing, Inc., 2008). Her work has been published in HEArt Journal Online, Dionne’s Story, Vol. II, and Voices from the Attic. She is a retired teacher, athletic director, and professional counselor, and received her Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a member of the Madwomen in the Attic Writing Workshops at Carlow University.

Marilyn Marsh Noll is the author of Ordinary Tasks (MadBooks, 2016). Her chapbook, Thirteen Ways of Looking at Bones, won the Pennsylvania Poetry Society Chapbook Award in 2007. Her children’s book, Jonathan and the Flying Broomstick, was published by Sunlight and Shadow Press in 2010. Her poems have appeared in the Comstock Review, Folio, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, The Poetry Society of Virginia 80th Anniversary Anthology of Poems, The Potter’s Wheel, Restonian, Uppagus, and Voices from the Attic. She earned her MFA in creative writing (poetry) at American University in 1994 when she was 61. She is a member of the Madwomen in the Attic and the Pittsburgh Poetry Society.
