Description and Reader Names: This is the kickoff event to raise interest in the community writing project 'grlhood, ' which aspires toward open conversation about girlhood, engaging the talents of adolescent girls and mature women writers. Featuring readers Tameka Cage Conley, Melissa Dias-Mandoly, Michelle Lin, and Ellen McGrath Smith. All money raised during this event will be donated to the non-profit organization 'Strong Women, Strong Girls.'
