reader bios:

Cameron Barnett is West coast born and Pittsburgh bred. He earned BAs in English Writing and Spanish from Duquesne University. There he was a member of Sigma Tau Delta English honor society and frequently published in the University’s arts and literary journal Lexicon. Graduating in 2011, he was awarded the O’Donnell Award for Excellence in Poetry. He is a reader for Hot Metal Bridge and one of the co-hosts for the Speakeasy Reading Series run by Pitt MFAs. His latest work can be found in Lines + Stars, Blast Furnace, Off the Coast, and Pretty Owl Poetry.

Rachel Mennies is the author of The Glad Hand of God Points Backwards, winner of the 2013 Walt McDonald First-Book Prize in Poetry, and the chapbook No Silence in the Fields. Her poetry has appeared in The Journal, Hayden’s Ferry Review, Mid-American Review, Poet Lore, and elsewhere, and has been reprinted at Poetry Daily. She currently teaches in the First-Year Writing Program at Carnegie Mellon University and is a member of AGNI’s editorial staff.
