Description and Reader Names: (5:30 – 5:45 is non-mandatory snack-and-chat time.)

Do you like to ... work with kids? read? write? ask questions? be silly? have fun? make things? think about things? talk about things?

If you answered "yes" to any of the above questions, chances are you'll enjoy volunteering at The LAB and you already have wonderful qualities that will make you a fabulous addition to our team.

Volunteers are *essential* to The LAB, so please get involved!

This training session is designed for volunteers who would like to work with youth. (If you'd like to help in other ways -- marketing, fundraising, outreach, design, events, or something else -- email literaryartsboom@gmail.com.)

If you will join us, please let us know by Monday, Sept. 3:
1) RSVP by sending an email to literaryartsboom@gmail.com or join the facebook event (https://www.facebook.com/events/435330876511911/)
AND
2) Fill this form out in advance if you haven't done so already: http://bit.ly/TheLABVolunteerForm

Melissa Butler and Lucy Ware -- teachers extraordinaire and Western Pennsylvania Writing Project Fellows -- will lead the session. You'll learn about learning, writing, model questioning, child development, and a whole lot more.
