Description and Reader Names: The Pittsburgh Contemporary Writers Series is proud to present U.S. Poet Laureate Natasha Trethewey. Trethewey will read from her work and sign books at a reception afterwards. Books will be available for purchase and light refreshments will be served.

Natasha Trethewey is the 2012 U.S. Poet Laureate. She has received fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation, the Rockefeller Foundation, and the National Endowment for the Arts. She is the author of Native Guard, for which she was awarded the 2007 Pulitzer Prize.
