Description and Reader Names: City of Asylum/Pittsburgh presents a reading and film screening with Barlen Pyamootoo, Visiting Writer-in-Residence from Mauritius, on. Pyamootoo is the author of the novellas In Babylon and Bénarès. He will read from the novellas, and screen an excerpt from the film of Bénarès, which he wrote and directed.
