Description and Reader Names: Celebratethe 400th anniversary of the publication of the King James Bible. Concert of readings and solo, choral, and organ music from across the centuries. Featuring favorites from the text that changed the English language and the connection between public and scripture.

Featuring the Renewal Choir, organist-conductor Brian Burns, and guest artists and readers from Poets Corner and Cavlary Church.

Donations accepted. Admission is free.

This parallels international celebrations as the King James version of the English bible turns 400. Events throughout the year include readings, events for children, and a finale of Handel's MESSIAH Sing-Along, Sunday, Dec. 18. The setting is the restored sanctuary of the historic Calvary United Methodist Church, featuring three magnificent Tiffany stained glass windows and Farrand & Votey organ. Program produced by Poets Corner, an arts program of Calvary UM Church. Refreshments and information on how to present and promote KJB events will be be provided.
