Description and Reader Names: A slam for everyone!

Poet/host Kelli Stevens Kane invites you to expand your concept of slam poetry. Have fun, take a risk, and show us what only you can do. The world needs it!

All poets welcome. First time slammers welcome!

Cost: $5

Prize $100

How it works: Sign up at 8:30, slam starts at 9pm sharp. First 20 people get on the list. Three minutes max per poem. Judges will be chosen from the audience and encouraged to score based on originality and content as well as performance. We'll go three rounds.

Poets: don't limit yourself to "slam" poetry. Highest scoring poet takes $100!
