Description and Reader Names: On Friday February 1st, 2013 the Pittsburgh Psychoanalytic Center will be presenting a book discussion titled, “A Psychotherapy for the People: Toward a Progressive Psychoanalysis.” Lewis Aron, Ph.D. will be discussing his new book. In this presentation, Lewis Aron will provide an overview of his recent scholarship on the history of psychotherapy and psychoanalysis and their implications for practice and education. Thomas Janoski, Ph.D., a faculty member of Pittsburgh Psychoanalytic Center, and a Psychoanalyst and Psychotherapist in private-practice will be the discussion leader.

The event will take place from 7 to 9 pm at the Bigelow Conference Center, located at 4338 Bigelow Blvd.
